The CDC stands for “Communicable Disease Center”. On July 1st, 1946, the CDC was founded on the basis that it would do continuous research to prevent malaria, typhus, and other infectious diseases.

When the Monkeypox and Covid-19 outbreaks emerged, it was pertinent to let people know what was happening.

As active community members, ensuring you have the necessary items in your home is crucial. That way, in a pandemic, you are prepared to fight any disease.

There is some taboo and fear around receiving the vaccine. That is why educating yourself on what a vaccine is and how it works is crucial.

During the monkeypox and COVID-19 outbreaks, the CDC made it easy for people to look up safe vaccines like Pfizer or Moderna. The CDC also made people aware when the monkeypox vaccine was available.
